Laura Pittman

Senior Partner, Mequoda Group, LLC

Laura brings more than 20 years of diverse and distinguished publishing and marketing experience to her position as Senior Partner. Her capabilities span the spectrum from marketing to business needs of publishers. Laura is formally trained as an accountant. She is an expert in computer modeling, reporting and business analysis and a specialist in project management, fulfillment system reporting and direct marketing.

As Senior Partner of Mequoda Group, she is responsible for the business and administrative operations of the company.

Prior to co-founding the Group, Laura was a co-founder of Blue Dolphin Direct in 1993 and Blue Dolphin Group in 2000. She oversaw the staffing and growth of Blue Dolphin Direct from two employees and no revenues to 20 employees and $3 million in annual revenues. At Blue Dolphin Group, Laura was responsible for building and managing the online, real-time reporting system that drove all the organization's marketing and business decision making. Laura has also held a variety of senior management positions at other publications and publishing service firms. She has served as Business Manager at Jordan-Savage Direct, as General Manager of MagazineWeek and as General Manager of the Lighthouse Communications Group.
