ARTICLE SNIPPET - Executive Summary
Community Building is one of fourteen website design guidelines identified by the Mequoda Group as being essential to sound, effective website design. We identified these website design guidelines by reviewing hundreds of websites and interviewing dozens of website publishers.
Some of the most successful websites let their users generate more than 99 percent of their content. The websites that can do this become masters at building communities that draw users to both read and post. This is especially important for Membership Websites.
This chapter is part of a handbook titled Membership Website Publishing.
